Delete your
Namai account.
For the Namai app on Google Play and the App Store · 14 October 2026
Before you start: cancel your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
In the app
- Open Namai and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my account at the bottom.
- Confirm with Delete my account for good.
If you own a home that other people with an account still use, first make one of them the owner (Settings → Home & people → tap a person → Make owner), or delete the home there. If you are the only one with an account, your home is deleted with your account.
Want a copy first? Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data.
Without the app
Write to support@namai.page from the email address you sign in to Namai with, with the subject “Delete my account”. Writing from that address shows us the account is yours. We delete the account within one month and reply to confirm.
What is deleted, straight away
- Your account and sign-in email address.
- Your name, profile photo and settings, including reminders and notification tokens.
- Your private plans, to-dos, private notes and “just me” spending.
- Invitations you made.
What is kept, and for how long
- Shared household items (chores, lists, bills) stay with your household while it exists. Your name on them becomes “Former member”.
- Shared notes you wrote stay with your household, with your name shown as “Former member”. Private notes are not kept: they are deleted with your account.
- Chore history: chores you ticked, or that someone ticked for you, stay in the chore’s History with your name shown as “Former member”.
- Backups: deleted data can stay in encrypted backups for up to 7 days before it is gone.
- Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (in Lithuania, up to 10 years).
Only want to delete some of your data? See namai.page/delete-some-data. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
